Electronic Arts has debuted a new trailer for their upcoming World War 1 themed shooter, Battlefield 1, providing a look at the game's expansive multiplayer warfare.

The airwaves have been dominated with chatter about Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Battlefield 1 this week, as EA and Activision's flagship shooters prepare to go to war for your wallet.

DICE and EA have confirmed Battlefield 1, the next game in the first person shooter series. The World War I-based game is coming on October 21 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Images leaked on NeoGAF and Reddit looks to have outed the next Battlefield's name and setting. 'Battlefield 1' will take place during World War 1, and will get a global reveal later today.
