A fresh update recently began rolling out to Telegram's desktop app, and it packs some handy new improvements. For group chats specifically, a new "@" badge will denote unread mentions and replies in the chat list. You can also now mark stickers as favorites, and add an official sticker set for groups.
Here's a look at the full release notes for the latest Telegram desktop update, provided by Telegram (via WindowsBlogItalia):
- Groups with unread mentions and replies are now marked with an '@' badge in the chats list.
- Navigate new mentions and replies in a group using the new '@' button.
- Mark your stickers as "favorite" to quickly access them from the redesigned sticker panel.
- Add an official sticker set for your group which all members will be able to use while chatting in your group (100+ member groups only).
This update began rolling out earlier this week, and it should be available for both the standard Win32 desktop app available through Telegram, as well as the Telegram desktop app in the Windows Store. You'll want to make sure you're running version 1.1.20 or later to see all of what's new.
