Third-party Pushbullet app Pushbull launches for Windows 10 Mobile

Developer Winuser has released Pushbull, a third-party Pushbullet app for Windows 10 Mobile. It contains most of the features of the popular app that allows PC owners to "push" texts, links, files and more from their PC to their smartphone, and vice versa.

Here's a look at the features in this first public version of Pushbull:

  • Easily share links and files between your devices, or with friends
  • See all your phone's notifications on your computer
  • Use Pushbullet Channels to subscribe to timely notifications about things you care about
  • The easiest way to get links or files onto your phone to open or share
  • Chat with your friends
  • Much more!

While Pushbull is free to download and use, there is an in-app purchase of $0.99 that can get rid of the app's ad banners. It also requires either a free or paid (Pro) Pushbullet account:

Download Pushbull from the Windows Store (opens in new tab)

  • Never known this exists. Thanks.
  • That's pretty awesome.  Thank you, third party developers, lol.  I will gladly download and try it out.  Something like this I will actually find useful.
  • Is this the best one out there?
  • Best is a relative term. It's best you try it out for yourself to see if it works for you.
  • This is good to see...this is an EXCELLENT application.
  • Anyone will tell plz, what are it's benefits?
  • Seems to be similar to OneClip
  • The benefits are: Easily share links and files between your devices, or with friends See all your phone's notifications on your computer Use Pushbullet Channels to subscribe to timely notifications about things you care about The easiest way to get links or files onto your phone to open or share Chat with your friends Much more!
  • It sounds like an app that combines the functionality of apps like Share Across Services and the notification syncing built into Windows with a few other bells and whistles. Just curious as I've heard of Pushbullet but never used it.
  • And how to share a link with it? Edge doesn't show the app when I try to share the link?
  • Hey, dev here. Share to Pushbull is coming in the next update in the coming days!
  • Is this on Android Also??
  • Where are the dead OS brigade? They seem quiet when something 'mildly' positive happens ;-)
  • Must have a special wc app that has a app leaving filter enabled lol
  • Soo ive tried using it but the problem is, on my pushbullet account, my phone is not considered as a push bullet device. So i cant "push" to my phone. Kinda of a drag....
  • Hi, dev here. This issue has been fixed, logout from settings and restart the app. Thanks!
  • Basically pushpin seems to be a Better app
  • It says my Surface Book cannot download because its not compatible? Couple month old Surface Book running 14393.82 is not compatible. Alrighty then.....
  • I get the article says for Windows 10 Mobile, but the app itself, says Windows 10 & Windows 10 Mobile.
  • That's a store issue. I've published the app to be Mobile only for now.
  • I downloaded from Pushpull website to get it to work, but it seems their app is only Windows 10 Mobile currently, not Windows 10. Also, the Windows Central desktop App no longer allows me to edit my comments anymore or reply. Just FYI. Keep the updates coming though! Love them!
  • So this basically works in direction phone->PC, not vice versa?
  • Good, but also need a PC app!
  • This app handles all of the Cortana features of melding PC, phone, and tablet into one device but adds a lot of other features not yet available. I used to use this app when I was an Android/Chrome junkie. Glad to see it's on its way to Windows 10 Mobile. But being that Cortana is coming together with all this, I'm not needing it anymore. :) Long live Windows 10!
  • I installed this on my phone. And downloaded official desktop app on my pc.
Besically app can send to PC, but PC cannot send to phone.
After logged in to This app does not, it did not register my phone as a device on the pushbullet account. So, whatever I send to PC, shows up in 'Following' section, instead of 'Devices' section. This is useless for me unless it's two way. mostly I need to transfer from pc to phone.
  • I used the feedback option in the app. And I got the reply from the dev within minutes. here it is:  Hi, Version 1.0.18.0 currently being certificated by the store fixes the issue of the device not showing under devices.   For pushes sent to yourself and showing under following, that seems to be an issue of the Pushbullet API.   Alessandro
  • Tried Pushile? Sounds like it might be a better option.
  • It's not available on Windows 10 Mobile as well as pc
  • Oh, W10 only?
  • Yes. I used it on my Lumia 930 with WP8.1. It was a good option.
  • I use "Pushile" which is by far the best pushbullet app.... but hasn't been updated for a while. I also tried this one and like the UI... but the app lacks features even to copy text or to open and url.. so "Pushile" for now.
  • how about Instabullet?
  • Instabullet is also good. But that is also facing the same problem as this one. Not showing in devices. And can't send anything from PC to phone.
  • it works for me :(
  • How? does it register your phone as a device, and can you selet it to send text from your PC app?
  • Install it from your Pc Windows Store too and register both (Pc and WP)
  • So after playing with Instabullet for some time, I found out that I can send pushes to phone from the chat section.
  • Yes I did that only. Previously, I was trying with the official desktop app. Thanks mate. finally it works :D
  • So of the 3, Insta now the best IYHO? Cheers mate.
  • So having used all 3*, if you were forced to chose, which would you use, & why? *Pushbull, Instabullet, Pushile
  • Instabullet - because it's win 10 ready and also UWP
  • Cheers mate, so you've used all 3 heavily? (assuming they're the only options)
  • Check for Pushbulli and Pushpin :D (also 3rd party)
  • OMFG... So you've used all "5" heavily & still prefer Insta?
  • Not "heavily" but a lot :)
  • Thanks for not ignoring me, appreciated.
  • Would love something like this, but only if it goes both ways. For now the reading app will suffice
  • When I send a link to my phone, I cannot click it so that it opens automatically in the browser. Bug or normal behavior in the free version?
  • Hi, dev here. This issue has been fixed in an update.
