Universal NPR One app picks up support for Windows 10 Mobile

If you're a public radio fan, you'll be happy to know that the universal NPR One app, which was initially released in December as a Windows 10 desktop-only app, is now available for Windows 10 Mobile. As detailed in the original release, the universal Windows 10 revamp is designed specifically for the Universal Windows Platform (UWP), and includes Cortana support and more. Here's the breakdown of NPR One's features:

  • A personalized stream of NPR and local station news and stories
  • Skip, rewind, pause and share
  • Search for your favorite shows, stations and podcasts
  • International, national, regional and local content
  • A simple, intuitive interface

We're unsure of just when the update enabling Windows 10 Mobile support arrived, but it looks to be pretty recent. If you'd like to check the app out, you can grab it for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile at the link below.

Thanks for the tip, Lloyd!
