Which colors are available for the all-metal Surface Laptop 3?
The lowdown on all-metal color options
The all-metal variants of the Surface Laptop 3 can come in sandstone, black, and platinum, but you can't get sandstone for the 15-inch version of the laptop, and you can't get platinum for the 13-inch variant. However, you can get the black coloring on both sizes of the device. There are other color options as well, but they are for the versions of the device that have fabric used in the keyboard design instead of metal.
Why get a Surface Laptop 3?
No matter what color or size you choose for the Surface Laptop 3, you're going to love it. It's fitted with either a 13.5-inch 2256x1504 display or a 15-inch 2496x1664 one for the smaller and larger variants respectively, and the laptop has got Intel's 10th Gen CPUs which offer more power than nearly all other laptop CPUs out there. You can configure it with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The 15-inch version can also be outfitted with an AMD Ryzen 7 custom CPU and an AMD Vega 11, if you want to get a little more power. This is the first AMD-powered Surface device ever, so it's a bit of a big deal, and people who like gaming, in particular, will find the AMD hardware attractive.
In terms of physical design, the laptop is quite light at just 2.79 pounds (13-inch) and 3.4 pounds (15-inch). It also comes with a Windows Hello camera, as well as a convenient USB-C port.
The future of Surface Laptop
