Windows 10 preview build 16278 now rolling out to Fast ring PC Insiders
A fresh Windows 10 Insider Preview build is now rolling out on PC for Fast ring Insiders.

Microsoft has pushed out another new build for Fast ring Windows Insiders on PC. Today's release carries build number 16278 and, like last week's build, contains a decent list of fixes and under-the-hood changes meant to polish up the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update ahead of a wider release.
Here's a look at all of what's been fixed in build 16278:
- We fixed an issue where upgrading to recent flights would fail if you had a speech for a secondary language installed.
- We fixed an issue where printing from 32-bit apps running on 64-bit versions of the OS was broken when using v3 print drivers on recent builds.
- The ability to take HDR screenshots on your PC via the Xbox app has been removed starting with this build. We plan to re-introduce this feature again in the future.
- We fixed an issue resulting in drag and drop onto websites intermittently not working in Microsoft Edge.
- We fixed an issue where Microsoft Edge would crash after choosing to pin certain websites to Start.
- We fixed an issue where a tab in Microsoft Edge could get in a state where it displayed a tab preview thumbnail even though your mouse wasn't hovering over the tab.
- We fixed an issue in Microsoft Edge for certain websites where after watching an embedded video full screen then using Esc to return to the page would result in the video controller no longer being visible.
- We fixed an issue in Microsoft Edge where pasting an image to Imgur.com from your clipboard wouldn't work.
- We fixed an issue where the Emoji Panel's tooltips could become mixed up.
- We fixed an issue from recent flights resulting in precision touchpads potentially dropping gestures after coming out of sleep.
- We fixed an issue where the battery flyout might incorrectly show "PC not charging" while the device was changing in recent builds.
- We fixed an issue where fonts using shortcuts would become unusable and disappear from the Fonts folder.
- We fixed an issue resulting in multiple apps crashing in the previous flight if you tried to log into the app using Facebook.
- We fixed and issue where Delivery Optimization Group Policy / MDM policy for DOMinFileSizeToCache was ignored and the service defaults were used instead.
If you're a Fast ring Insider, you should be able to grab this build on your PC now. Alas, there's no new Mobile build available to check out, but it's always possible we could see one arrive later this week.

Not available for me yet. I get the message that I am up to date. I am still on 16273. Maybe later it will start to down load.

Check your insider settings. If you signed up for Skip Ahead you will not get the build. You can go back in and change it to active development for windows and you will get it. Then you can go back to Skip Ahead.
-
Can he go back to Skip Ahead if Skip Ahead is full?
-
No, if you leave you can't get back in.
-
Whoa. No no no. If you go out of Skip Ahead to get the new build you'll not be allowed to rejoin Skip Ahead. The team has made that clear repeatedly. Skip Ahead is closed. Leaving it means leaving it period. So your advice is the exact opposite of what should be done if they want to stay in the Skip Ahead ring.

So THAT's why I have had errors printing from Acrobat DC recently. Bit of head scratching that caused me. :)

Anyone else now missing the Connect Mobile Devices in the settings for Cortana?

THIS! "We fixed an issue where a tab in Microsoft Edge could get in a state where it displayed a tab preview thumbnail even though your mouse wasn't hovering over the tab." forget about this insider build, been going on with Edge since the very first Windows 10 release.
-
Every build seems to have a large amount of Edge fixes. Why they do not decouple Edge from the OS and make it a normal store app is beyond me. All those fixes seem to not reach the regular user in a timely fashion. ¬_¬

How much percent it requires to download this update?

Anyone have issues with the store after this update? It is greyed out for me like it's not installed..I tried to fix it with powershell and although a pop up notification appears telling me store is installed it won't open and is still greyed out. Tried reset function under applications but no use.

'We fixed an issue where upgrading to recent flights would fail if you had a speech for a secondary language installed.' This made me understand why I couldn't update beyond 16257, kept on rolling back whatever I did. I removed the secondary Language und then updated to 16275 and 16278. Now Asphalt 8 is working again!
