ISDigital is offering a classic paper game over at the Windows Marketplace for Mobile. Square-it is patterned after the game of squares. Squares has you and your opponent face off over a grid of dots. The object of the game is to connect the dots to build squares. The person with the most squares wins the game.
Square-it offers three grid sizes (7x11, 9x13, and 10x15) and if you can't find a partner to play against, there's always the computer. Graphics are clean, crisp and has a classic "old school" feel. I didn't experience any glitches, crashes or bugs while running Square-it.
My daughter and I often played squares on a napkin in restaurants to pass the time (got tricky when we had cloth napkins). Square-it eliminates the need for napkins and allows you to enjoy the game anywhere. Just as with the paper version, Square-it has an addictive quality about it and is a fun way to pass the time with.
