See how the Microsoft Surface Pro aids drones with humanitarian efforts

Microsoft has published a new video to show how its Surface Pro tablets (the latest being the Surface Pro 3) are utilized by senseFLY, an autonomous drone and image processing software development company. The team not only produces drones for the general public to purchase and use themselves, but they also provide flight planning, surveying and mapping services.

This particular video illustrates how the Surface Pro works with said drones to create mapping and models for humanitarian and conservation efforts.

It's amazing to see technology come together to help resolve problems around the world affecting millions of people. An added bonus is the fact the team has opted to use the Surface Pro, Microsoft's latest tablet with powerful components, tons of mobility and sturdy construction to boot.
