Twitter clients working again on Windows 8

Twitter clients running on Windows 8 appear to be working again, which leads us to believe the issues caused by the social network have been resolved. We've received a number of tips from readers who have noticed services being resumed and tweets being published, when using third-party apps on Microsoft's latest version of Windows.

It was only yesterday that we reported on Windows 8 Twitter clients experiencing issues with some functionality. Said problems were said to be caused by 'an unannounced alteration' Twitter has made to its API that breaks a thing or two with actions that use HTTP "POST", such as authentication, sending tweet / retweets up to the sky.

We've just attempted to send a tweet out in Tweetro, which sent without issues, so it seems as though we're good to go. Do let us know should you still be experiencing problems with Windows 8 Twitter clients.

This is just a small heads up for those dedicated Sunday Twitter users. Thanks to everyone who gave the heads up!
