As you can see in the full statement, the goal of this update is to "restart this journey together" with fans by committing to greater transparency and communication with the Halo fanbase moving forward. Considering a lack of transparency is one of the biggest issues the community has with the studio right now, this is good to hear. There's no telling what specifically this "high level update" will be, but if we had to guess, we expect that it will be a lengthy and in-depth blog post with countless work-in-progress images and thorough developer commentaries. Ultimately, though, only time will tell.

Halo Infinite is expected to release sometime in 2021 on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One consoles, and Windows 10 PCs.
