  • I'd prefer they just merge the Xbox and Windows 10 multiplayer. The servers in both Modern Warfare and Infinite Warfare are completely dead on Windows 10.
  • Hopefully they will interpret the results of their failed experiment as needing to do what you advise, instead of just not making a Windows version next time.
  • Sadly I'm sure skipping Windows is exactly what they'll do. They have little incentive to sell Xbox Play Anywhere titles. Unless Microsoft does something radical like waiving or lowering the licensing fees for Play Anywhere titles it'll just look like giving away two games for the price of one to most publishers.
  • What they really need to do is merge the Steam and Windows 10 multiplayer. I don't want to play against mouse and keyboard guys on my console.
  • I'd settle for either one.
  • Somewhat sadly I won't be playing these new maps or Infinite warfare. The COD franchise has left a large number of their fans wondering what is COD anymore? It WAS Modern Warfare, it was WWII and now it's wall running, jet pack, super hero, space warfare rubbish. Nothing like many had loved. Here's a simple tip, Leave the unrealistic FPS's to Titanfall, Destiny and Halo. Now forcing you to buy Infinite Warfare to get Modern Warfare is just another turn of the knife. Battlefield 1 has listened, and COD is lost. My hope by refusing to buy it with swarms of others forces COD to wake up!
  • Don't worry, Activision isn't stupid when it comes to making money. Mwrm will be available standalone soon enough.
  • Pretty sure none of us would stomach a "realistic" war game.
  • I think you understand his meaning without having to be 'clever' about it
  • Releasing the MW2 Remaster as a standalone can and would only be seen as the death of the core franchise, but yeah, I totally agree - it's anything but CoD these days, feels more like Halo, Titanfall and Destiny.
  • it needs to pick up a separate release
  • When can I buy this on it's own?  Not buying infinite..
  • I'll stick to Run Escape.
