Catch NVIDIA's special event live at 6 p.m. PST!

NVIDIA is throwing a Friday night party where the GeForce division apparently has something to talk to us about. The "power of 10" teaser is about all we have so far, but that plus GeForce leaves us with a decent idea on what we're hoping to see.

We're about a year removed from the launch of the GTX 980 Ti, so it wouldn't be at all beyond the realms of possibility to expect a new, top of the line graphics card from the green team. The good news is, the whole thing is going down live on Twitch so you can be there with them.

Things kick off at 6 p.m. Pacific, which is 9 p.m. on the East Coast and 2 a.m. in London. So it's a late night or an early morning for many of us. You'll find the stream you want to follow right here.

  • Bet its a new card! Betcha!
  • I'm still holding on to my EVGA GT 780 SC with ACX Cooler. The 3GB of video RAM is starting to be an issue for some games. I may buy a new GPU in a couple of years as I don't play games as much as I used to.
  • 4 GB R9-290 OC still going strong
  • GTX 970 is the Best CARD! havent been a year since i got it, but i am looking forward the 1070 now
  • But, the GTX 970 is 3,5 GB card lol

  • My GTX 760 is in need of an upgrade. Was going to go 980ti but Pascal is too close not wait. The rumors say 1080 and 1070 tonight but I've got my fingers crossed for a 980ti replacement.
  • 10th Gen cards
  • So first they came out and stated that this new GTX1080 is faster than TWO GTX 980s in SLI, and faster than a GeForce Titan X! Then they unvieled the GTX1070 ($379) and said that even it is faster than a Titan X!   I love my GTX970 4GB, but I really really want one of these new cards!
