What you need to know

  • PAX East 2020 took place over the weekend.
  • New gameplay footage from a number of popular titles was revealed.
  • Grounded ended up being one of the biggest surprises from the event.
  • The game is a Microsoft Exclusive made by Obsidian Entertainment.

At PAX East 2020, a lot of interesting games got gameplay reveals or new footage. The most striking of them had to be Obsidian Entertainment's "Grounded," a game that's like "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids." You can tell that it's a survival experience with a high degree of polish. Many gamers were expecting it to be on the quality of a small, independent project, but it appears to be much deeper than that.

If you're a fan of THQ Nordic classics like "SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom" or "Destroy All Humans!" you'll be excited to know that remastered versions are coming out relatively soon. A lot of amazing footage for both games was revealed at PAX East too.
