Elgato's green screen is perfect for European streamers wanting to make it big

Using a green screen and a webcam can really add something special to a gaming stream. Allowing viewers to see reactions and put a name to a face makes it feel more personal, approachable and professional. This Elgato green screen can do just that for £139.95 (opens in new tab) and while the price tag may appear rather high, it's ideal for those who require a screen that can be deployed and retracted without issue.

Some features of this pricey green screen include wrinkle resistance, optimization for chroma keying (allowing streamers to remove the green background and have a transparent surrounding), and quick deployment system. It does exactly what you'd need it to do for creating a professional looking stream with some killer visual effects. The Elgato Green Screen is now available across Europe for £139.95 (€149,95):

  • Hasn't the background removal technology of the new depth sensing cameras (which are usually also compatible with Windows Hello) caught on? I thought it was a great way to make this simple instead of making a film studio out of your gaming room.
  • There aren't many webcams that a lot of streamers would consider good enough as a webcam that also do this. The Razer one for example is disappointing. The ones we've tested have been great for Hello and stuff but not necessarily as a quality webcam for broadcasting yourself to the internet. Green screen works with everything. Including Mac.
