Fitbit has always been pretty consistent with keeping its Windows app updated with new features and support for new devices, and its latest update is no different. The Fitbit app for Windows 10 now supports the Fitbit Versa, the company's newest smartwatch designed as a followup to the Ionic.
Opting for a "squircle" look, the Fitbit Versa sports a sleeker design than its Ionic cousin, but comes with the same set of step, calorie, distance, heart-rate, and sleep tracking features on board. Support for the smartwatch in the Fitbit app simply means that you'll be able to set it up with your Windows 10 or Windows 10 Mobile device once you have your hands on one.
This comes not long after Fitbit also launched the Fitbit Coach app for Windows 10 and Xbox One.
The Fitbit Versa is expected to be available in April and is up for preorder now starting at $199.95. And for more, check out our hands-on with the Versa as well.
