It's another fine day to convince you to try Microsoft Flight Simulator, as one of the most recognizable brands just unveiled a wealth of all-new sticks and yokes at FlightSimExpo 2026 at the Saint Paul RiverCentre in Minnesota. I already convinced Richard Devine to try Thrustmaster's offerings in MSFS, and the brand is dropping new options at the convention.

By far the most interesting addition is its new general aviation TCA Sky Yoke, compatible with PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. That's right, it's supposedly coming to both consoles, which should please anyone who started playing MSFS on PlayStation. There's also a new TCA Sky Quadrant that pairs a trio of throttle levers with the yoke, which looks compact at a glance.

For now, Thrustmaster lists the TCA Sky Yoke's features with "a built-in steel pitch axis shaft, 7 axes, throttle and trim controls, yaw inputs, 24 action buttons, an 8-way POV hat switch, a mini-stick and dual analog triggers." I haven't seen any prices yet, but it stands alongside the Warthog MK II, a successor to its usually more expensive HOTAS, and an Airbus add-on grip for joystick bases.

Speaking of the PS5, this batch of new flight sticks follows Thrustmaster's earlier reveal of a PlayStation-specific variant of its MSFS-branded HOTAS, the T.Flight Hotas 5 Microsoft Flight Simulator Edition. It's the same thing as the highly praised T.Flight Hotas One MSFS Edition for Xbox, just exhibiting Sony's buttons and console compatibility instead, listed at $109.99 on Amazon from today.

I'm thrilled to see more flight sticks and, in turn, cross-platform love for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Anything that pulls in more players to MSFS' deceptively addictive sim gameplay is a winner in my book. The expo in Minnesota has only just started, so I'll keep an eye on Thrustmaster and see what else they share about the new hardware, including any chances of getting my eager hands on the most exciting examples!
