During the Xbox E3 2021 show, Halo developer 343 Industries announced in a blog post that there will be a Halo Infinite beta that players can participate in ahead of the game's Holiday 2021 launch. The beta will focus on Halo Infinite's multiplayer gameplay and requires players to sign up for the Halo Insider Program. The beta will arrive at some point in Summer 2021, although no specific dates have been revealed just yet.

As a Halo Insider, you'll have the opportunity to give continuous feedback about Halo Infinite to 343 Industries as you playtest the game. This system worked very well for the PC ports of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, so we highly recommend becoming a part of it. Are you excited to play Halo Infinite's beta? Did you enjoy the game's presence at E3 2021? Let us know. The game looks like it's going to be one of the best Xbox games ever made, so we're excited to play it when it comes to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One consoles, and Windows 10 (and Windows 11) PCs later this year. You can preorder the game now for $60, but keep in mind that if you're only interested in the multiplayer, it will be free.
