The art is clearly reminiscent of Halo: Combat Evolved and Master Chief appears to have a grappling hook on his arm. Is this a pickup of some kind? There's also what could be a Banished Brute reflected in Chief's visor.

  • Hopefully this one will bring the franchise back to true form:
    1. No more fighting transformer reject robots.
    2. Bring back the highly expendable A. I. grunts to fight alongside you. 3. Bring back the flood with more dangerous versions of them and at times, attack in the hordes, world war z style. 4. No more metallic looking space planet environments. Make Halo great again
  • Those transformer robots as you call them are an integral part of the Halo universe. The whole Forerunner aspect is brilliant. It's all in the books. So I personally was very happy to see the story go beyond the prophets and covenant to include the best parts of the universe.
  • I never read the books and I never will. It's good that it followed the source, but it didn't work for me. The first Halo game that I never completed. To each his own , but it wasn't for me and apparently other people feel that way as well, because Halo 5's not exactly considered the best of the franchise.
  • Well in a sort of open-world zip lines make sense for longer distances.
Even more interesting is the Halo Ring. It's not complete and therefore separated. Most likely for map restrictions. Maybe we can explore one big area after another like in Gears 5 (but better I hope).
  • There was a screenshot leak about a year ago, that got removed real quick. Showing a way point that was over 60km away.
