HTC Singapore launching Windows Phone 8X for SGD $778 tomorrow with goodies

HTC Singapore has published an enticing Windows Phone 8X deal on its Facebook page. The Windows Phone is stated to be on sale from tomorrow onwards, and will be available at just SGD $828 ($778 when taking into account the deal). Not only that but the manufacturer is offering the first 25 customers to purchase a HTC 8X from Challenger Funan will receive a SGD $50 off the retail price and take home a Microsoft Premium gift.

If that wasn't enough, the first 10 customers to purchase the 8X will receive a copy of Halo 4 (standard edition) as their Microsoft Premium prize. If you're in the area tomorrow, don't forget to set those alarms to head down to the Funan DigitaLife Mall ( tomorrow. IT's good to see the manufacturer including Microsoft products to further push its Windows Phone out the door.

  • Considering how expensive Singapore tends to be, this is actually a very good price and great way to promote the product on the tech-savvy island. Singaporeans love new tech (see mirrorless camera sales), so here's to hoping they embrace this as well.
  • HTC has made the move while Nokia is still taking their own sweet time in releasing the prices for Singapore.
  • Actually, Nokia is now accepting preorders. While the launch will be on the 2nd week of December, those who preordered will get theirs on the 1st week. And that includes me :D

  • Yeah, the price. I was told it shouldn't be higher than S$900. I know, it's still an estimate.
