MGL 30 — Join us for some LIVE Halo 5 co-op campaign and you could win Halo Wars 2! (Ended)

Join us for this week's Microsoft, Gaming and Libations and you could win Halo 5 and more! {.intro}

"Microsoft, Gaming and Libations" is a live show hosted on Microsoft's streaming network, Beam.pro, featuring Jez Corden, Zac Bowden, and Daniel Rubino from Windows Central.

During this week's Halo 5 live stream, we'll give away a copy of Halo Wars 2, additional games, and maybe more during the chat!

This week, we're going to be playing Halo 5's co-op campaign, mainly to placate Zac who hates all other games.

Microsoft, Gaming and Libations

Watch us LIVE on Beam.pro/WindowsCentral

Tonight, we'll be giving away a copy of Halo Wars 2 to a lucky follower of our Beam channel LIVE during the stream.

  • We'll use a raffle system to make sure we're giving keys to people who aren't AFK.
  • You must be following the channel to be eligible. The raffle will ignore users who aren't following!
  • We'll give out additional Xbox One game(s) during the show.
  • We'll give out Halo Wars 2 towards the end for followers only!

Halo Wars 2 is a beautiful and complex RTS from Creative Assembly and 343i, set in the Halo universe. Players can indulge in a engaging campaign, explosive online death matches, or fast-firing Blitz mode battles. This key will give you both an Xbox One and Windows 10 version, awesome!

See at Xbox Store (opens in new tab)

For now, all you need to do is head to our Beam channel at Beam.pro/windowscentral and follow! When the stream begins, jump in on the live chat.

We'll give away a key for Halo Wars 2 (Xbox One / W10) towards the end of the show.

We'll also field some questions from the audience, so, even if you already own the game, sign up for Beam and come listen to us lament the slow death of Windows 10 Mobile.

For those curious, we're aiming for a 90-minute air time, but honestly, we have no idea how long it will go. So grab a drink and join in on the fun to find out!

  • Can I be a co-op partner?
  • This game is so good coop.
  • I wouldn't know, they omitted local co-op and i haven't touched it since I bought it. HUGE disappointment! Not to mention MCC left out 4 player local co-op for halo CE. Found that out the hard way
  • I suppose I used to local coop 10 years ago. But me and all my friends just play online together. When we meet up we don't game. We play golf, go for a drink, go to a football etc. Didn't think local coop was a thing anymore.
  • Maybe not so much for friends, but local co-op with family is still very important. Look at the Lego games which all have local co-op. The problem with Halo co-op is that it isn't drop-in/drop-out like Gears of War. If an online player drops out in Halo, they can't be replaced until the end of the level, which is pretty annoying considering how long some of the campaign levels are.
  • Halo Wars 2? Pretty sure this game will be the next for a steam release and that will kill the whole community in the Store.
  • I hope it is.  Edit: there's a community in the Store?
