Previous rumors about a turn-based Gears of War tactics game seemed to be true, as Microsoft unveiled Gears Tactics during their stunning E3 2018 showcase.

Gears Tactics is coming to PC, and looks similar to turn-based XCOM titles, where you control squads of Gears soldiers in tactical battles with the Locust.

  • So the only game that surprised me, Gears tactics, won't release on Xbox? That's sad
  • If tactics was the only game you were excited about you are not a gamer. Lol
  • I'm sorry, but I can't be excited by another halo, gears, forza, which, by the way, we all knew were coming. I did get excited to know that Vermintide 2 and Phoenix Point were going to release on game pass, but that's because my wallet will be happy. In terms of games, the only thing that excited me was Gears
  • Why not on console and where's the mouse and keyboard support?
  • Hard to justify a PC only release considering how well XCOM plays with the controller.
