Microsoft's Surface Go 3 with 4G LTE is coming to AT&T on January 7
Go anywhere with LTE.

What you need to know
- AT&T is picking up the Surface Go 3 with LTE on January 7.
- The price for Surface Go 3 with LTE is $729 for the Core i3 model.
- The device should be SIM unlocked.
AT&T has announced (opens in new tab) that it will begin selling the Surface Go 3 with 4G LTE on January 7, with pricing starting at $729. Microsoft announced that the Surface Go 3 would get a 4G LTE model in early 2022, and it appears stock for that SKU is now beginning to appear online. AT&T is the first to stock the device, though we suspect more retailers and outlets will stock it soon.
It appears the cheaper 4G LTE model with an Intel Pentium GOLD chip isn't available for sale yet. So far, it's just the Intel Core i3 model, which explains the high price tag. Microsoft intends to sell a $499 model with 4G LTE at some point soon as well, for those who don't need the extra power and would rather save a few bucks.

So, yay tablet but meh phone...
Im not even surprised. -
I'll likely get one, but not from AT&T. Unless they have a nice trade-in option. Love the heck out of my OG Surface Go, with LTE. Have held off replacing it, waiting for the LTE Go 3. Thought that had actually been out for a while on MS's site. Think Best Buy should carrying it as well.

My son has a Surface Go v1 and it has held up fairly well, but I have noticed that it is lacking a bit of pep, especially on the gaming front. I have tried a couple of times to do the Xbox Cloud gaming on his Surface Go, but it takes forever to launch the games, so he just falls back on other low quality games to fiddle around with. Does anyone with a Surface Go 2 find the Xbox Cloud Gaming to work fairly well? Being that the Surface Go 3 is "60% more powerful" than the Go 2, I am hoping that *maybe* we would have a better experience with the Xbox Cloud Gaming on the Surface Go 3 than we are having on the Go v1... Thoughts?
