Microsoft has launched the Summer Spotlight event for the Xbox One, which will see the company promote the release of over 25 digital games for the console from now until Sept. 5.
The event was summarized by Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb on his website:
Over the next six weeks, the Xbox Store will be releasing over 25 new digital games to Xbox One. We have some of the most anticipated titles of the summer, including We Happy Few and INSIDE. This is also a great time to explore exciting new indie titles such as The Solus Project and Kingdom New Lands. Summer Spotlight has a wide variety of titles and different genres for fans to explore. From July 26 – September 5 we will be bringing you additional games every week, and I'll be updating this post, so check back every Tuesday to discover new games to play!
Xbox Live Rewards members will also be able to claim 4,000 extra points when they spend $40 on any game involved in the Summer Spotlight sale. The full list of games will be revealed in the near future.
