Mixer.com now supports 21 languages

Many others want to get involved but language may be a barrier to that. Well, it looks like Microsoft knows about this and they're expanding the languages the service supports. Today, the Mixer website expanded support to 21 languages for the growing Mixer community around the world. This was one of the most-requested features and it's great to see the company delivering on a promise.

If you go to the Mixer website, you can easily select the language of your choice from the settings menu. This changes the language on the entire website when you're navigating all of its content. The list of Mixer supported languages is as follows.

  • Chinese Simplified (zh-CN)
  • Chinese Traditional (zh-TW)
  • Danish (da-DK)
  • Dutch (nl-NL)
  • English (en-GB)
  • English (en-US)
  • Finnish (fi-FI)
  • French (fr-FR)
  • German (de-DE)
  • Italian (it-IT)
  • Japanese (ja-JP)
  • Korean (ko-KR)
  • Norwegian (nb-NO)
  • Polish (pl-PL)
  • Portuguese (pt-BR)
  • Portuguese (pt-PT)
  • Russian (ru-RU)
  • Spanish (es-ES)
  • Spanish (es-MX)
  • Swedish (sv-SE)
  • Turkish (tr-TR)

This will enable more gamers to sign up and use Mixer because they can navigate the menus in the language of their choice. Supporting multiple languages may seem like a simple task, but it drastically changes how many people can use a particular website or service around the world. Hopefully the Mixer team will add more languages in the months and years to come!
