Nokia Lumia 1020 now available in Kuwait

Although Nokia made headlines last week by announcing some new devices, we have to remember that phones like the Lumia 1020 are still launching in various countries. Case in point, Kuwait.

We’re told by tipster Nawzil that the small but prominent Arab country is now selling the 41 MP camera phone in various locations, including Xcite and Eureka for around 209 KD. Mobile operator Zain Kuwait is also selling the device with 4G LTE internet and local calls starting from 30 KD per month (with an 18 month contract).

Although Nokia’s flagship camera phone launched at the end of summer in many countries, it’s great to see Kuwait finally get a shot at the device. It was only recently that Dubai picked up the phone, with an extravagant launch video too boot, and we imagine other Arab countries will be receiving it too.

Thanks, Nawzil, for the tip
