PC exclusive maps from Halo 1 and 2 to be added to Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will have even more content to check out than previously thought as Microsoft's 343 Industries has revealed that all the multiplayer levels included in the PC versions of Halo 1 and 2 will be included in the upcoming Xbox One port of Halo 1-4.

That means the game collection will include nine more levels, including Timberland, Death Island, Gephyrophobia, Danger Canyon, Ice Fields and Infinity from Halo CE, and District and Uplift from Halo 2. In addition, the two exclusive weapons made for the PC version of Halo: CE, the Flamethrower and the Fuel Rod Gun, can also be used in the Xbox One port. Die hard Xbox Halo fans can choose to filter those two weapons out by selecting a "classic" weapons set.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which will also allow owners access to the Halo 5 multiplayer beta when it goes live in late December, is scheduled to ship on November 11. Are you happy that the PC content in Halo 1 and 2 will be in this game?
