Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition is now available on Xbox One
By Rich Edmonds published
Pillars of Eternity is an old-classic style RPG by the insanely talented folks over at Obsidian Entertainment and it's now available for Xbox One.

Starting off as a Kickstarter project (and dream), Obsidian Entertainment revived the old action RPG genre by developing and releasing Pillars of Eternity on PC. The title is essentially a spiritual successor to the likes of Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale. If you've missed the in-depth and complex RPGs of old, Pillars of Eternity will be right up your street and the game is now available on Xbox One for $49.99 (opens in new tab).
The company took advantage of the campaign to raise funds so the team wouldn't be shackled down by a publisher. Teaming up with Paradox Interactive (one of our more favourable publishing giants), Pillars of Eternity is making the jump from PC to Xbox One. After spending hours creating a character, you'll be released into the region of Eora. There's a lot of customization options and dialogue choices in Pillars that really bring characters to life. It also helps that the writing is stellar.
Pillars launching on Xbox One makes it one of the best on the platform and is worth checking out.

" After spending hours creating a character " So true of every RPG I play. :D :D :D

Looking at those cuts scenes that I remember all to well as I played on the PC. It is a great game but also a massive time suck. Hours just melt away while playing and getting into the well done story, NPCs and your character. It is one of my favorites I just don't know I can play it all again on the Xbox again given the time it takes. Also, what happened to the complete review that was promised before launch?
