Developer Zen Studios has announced that its popular pinball game, Pinball FX2 VR, is now available on Windows Mixed Reality (WMR). And like other VR games that are quickly populating the platform, Pinball FX2 VR looks to create a pretty immersive experience based on its main gameplay hook.
Already available on other VR platforms for some time, Pinball FX2 VR pulls players into themed environments where they can play on virtual pinball machines. The setup replicates the feeling of playing on an actual pinball machine, but Zen Studios says it has added features and effects that you couldn't get from a physical machine. The base game ships with three tables: Secrets of the Deep, Mars and Epic Quest. However, like the standard Pinball FX games, there are plenty of additional tables available as DLC.
If you already have your hands on one of the recently released Windows Mixed Reality headsets from the likes of Dell, Lenovo, and others, you can grab Pinball FX2 VR now for $14.99. In addition, a Pinball FX2 VR Season One Pack is also available for $24.99 with five new tables: CastleStorm, Wild West Rampage, BioLab, Paranormal and Earth Defense. Each contains its own environmental effects themed after the table you're playing.
