Razer today introduced the Firefly V2, the latest take on its RGB mouse mat. While this iteration may look similar to the original Firefly, Razer has tucked in a few small updates that should please fans of all things RGB.
The biggest addition to the Firefly V2 is that it now features brighter LED than the original Firefly. Razer has also added four more lighting zones to the mix, making for 19 zones in total around all four sides of the mat.
Lastly, the Firefly V2 is thinner than before, measuring at three millimeters thick. Otherwise, you're getting a hard, micro-textured surface and a rubber base that keeps the mat from slipping. There's also a built-in cable catch to cut down on mouse drag.
The Firefly V2 is available starting today from Razer's online store (opens in new tab) for $50.
