Today, Rockstar Games dropped a new trailer showcasing long-awaited Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay. Red Dead Redemption 2 looks gorgeous running on consoles. The world feels alive as if everyone has a purpose. There seems to be a greater push on exploration this time, and this presents new opportunities for survival and gunplay. For example, a shootout that takes place in the dense forest will be vastly different to one that's in the heart of town.
Red Dead Redemption 2 tells a personal story. After a robbery goes wrong in the town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal, and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals or loyalty to the gang who raised him.
What did you like most about the trailer? What are you expectations from the game? Let us know.
Red Dead Redemption 2 should launch on October 26, 2018 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 systems. It's unclear what the resolution or frame rate will be on Xbox One X, but we do know that the game is getting enhanced for the new console.
