Samsung Focus Flash 4G details and specs emerge

In addition to the Focus S, we can not get a glimpse of the Flash Flash 4G, which is the "lower end" device but it's far from low end in these eyes. The phone features the following specs, leaked on the Windows Phone site (opens in new tab).

  • 1.5GHz CPU MSM8255
  • 5MP rear camera
  • VGA front facing camera
  • 7 hours battery life
  • 3.7" Super AMOLED display
  • "4G" HSDPA+

All in all, a solid device and it looks a lot like the Omnia W, if you ask us. No word on pricing and availability.

  • Why does this have a faster CPU then the Focus S??
  • It just does.
  • It doesn't. The Omnia W (aka Focus Flash) has the same SOC as the Focus S.
  • ^ Same Question
  • Looks like it? it is the Omnia W. Also didn't knew it was 4G...nice.
  • It has the same clock speed as the Focus S
  • Nice Phone...finally WP7 is getting some sweet hardware. It's about time. NOKIA next week...damn busy days in WP7 land:-)
  • unique design im sick of rounded corners :D
  • I think this looks better than the original Focus, but I thought that the Omnia 7 looked better than the Focus too. At least Samsung is giving the U.S. the 'mini Omnia 7'(as I like to call it)!
  • 7 hours battery life? What? :) I guess u mean talk time or so. Cheers!
  • So the Samsung Focus Flash is a rebadge of the Samsung Omnia W.
  • Am I the only one that wants a phone with a hardware home button? Why is the lowest end of the new phones the only one, I dislike capacitative buttons...
  • +1
  • yes i loving this phone reminds me very much of my zuneHD ahh only if it was for sprint
  • Both this and the Focus S have 1.4 GHz CPUs not 1.5. Only the Titan is clocked at 1.5.
  • I'm so unbelievably sad that this is where the Omnia is ending up at. I was really hoping for a CDMA carrier. AT&T is awful here in Vegas so I've been looking at sprint and Verizon. Now I'm just plain sad. I was really looking forward to this phone :(
  • 7 hours battery life. Thats just of 1/4 of a day. I wonder whether that means 7 hours, continual use. I hope so, because if not that is unacceptable for a portable device. My HD2 with mango gives a day with average use.
  • its most likely 7 hours talk time.
  • a physical home button should have been a standard on all samsung windows phones.
