Wonder Reader version 3 released, supports Windows Phone 8

Popular Windows Phone RSS reader Wonder Reader has been updated to support Windows Phone 8. The latest release includes improvements to support wide Live Tiles, WXGA and 720p resolutions, as well as voice commands. Not only that, but the app is currently on offer at $1.29 to celebrate the launch of Windows Phone 8 and Wonder Reader's second birthday.

It's a highly rated app, which we reviewed back in 2010. Version 2 was released for Mango, so it's good to see the developer continuing to support Windows Phone with further releases being published on the Store. As well as the new screen resolution and Live Tile size support, Wonder Reader also sports high quality images and copy link to clipboard functionality.

You can download Wonder Reader from the Windows Phone Store for the discounted price of $1.29 (£0.99).

  • I absolutely love this application. I never had good luck with NextGen or any of the other popular Google Reader apps for whatever reason. And it seems even faster with the new WP8 version. I actually bought it when I had an HTC Trophy on Verizon a long time ago; it was nice to see it available on my 8X after a sojourn into Android-land.
  • Yeah, this is my favorite Google Reader too.  And with that (and Amazing Weather HD recently), I no longer have any blurry medium tiles either, which is nice.
  • I use Wonder Reader every day.  It's my favorite Google Reader on Windows Phone.  I highly recommend it!
  • i've been looking for a good google reader app. thanks for posting this! i downloaded the trial, loved it, and so decided to buy it! thanks again!
