Forza Horizon and Castle of Illusion added to Xbox One backwards compatible list

Microsoft has added the Xbox 360 games Forza Horizon and Disney's Castle of Illusion to the list of games that can be played on the Xbox One via its backwards compatibility feature.

The two new additions were revealed on the Major Nelson Twitter page. Forza Horizon is, of course, the first game in the open-world racing series from developer Playground Games. It will also be one of the free games available for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 in September as part of the Games with Gold program.

Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse is a 3D version of the classic Disney game for the Sega Genesis:

When the evil witch Mizrabel kidnaps Minnie, it's up to Mickey to brave the dangers of the Castle of Illusion to rescue Minnie. Gather your courage and traverse enchanted forests, take on hordes of rebellious toys and navigate mazes of living books.

While Forza Horizon will be included in September's free Games with Gold, Disney's Castle of Illusion is available for $15. You can currently check out Xbox 360 both games on the Xbox Marketplace for more.
