Gamescom is a video game conference started in 2009 that takes place annually in Cologne, Germany. The event is organized by the Federal Association of Interactive Entertainment Software and is the world's largest gaming event, with over 700 exhibitors in total. Exhibitors include Activision Blizzard, 2K Games, Nintendo, Sega, Atari, Intel, Capcom, and more.

During the show, gaming companies show off their upcoming titles to the public. In 2015, new titles were shown off that include Mirror's Edge Catalyst, Cobalt, Halo 5: Guardians, FIFA 16, Forza Motorsport 6, NBA 2K16, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, and many others.
