The Xbox One launched with three exclusive retail titles last year: Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5, and Ryse: Son of Rome. Did you buy the system at launch or shortly thereafter, but miss out on some of those games? Or maybe you're planning to jump in with one of this fall's bundles, such as the Madden, Sunset Overdrive, and Call of Duty bundles.

If you still want any of the big launch games, you're in luck. GameStop has outed the October release of "Game of the Year" Editions (GOTY) for all three launch exclusives. These new editions will bundle the main games with some or all of their downloadable content (DLC), making them quite a bargain if you haven't got those games already. Even luckier for our awesome readers, we're here to share impressions of each game and what their new editions will offer.

What could be better than sitting in front of your Xbox One and dismembering zombies with a variety of chainsaws and customizable weaponry? Nothing – absolutely nothing. Today, Capcom has announced a few surprises for fans of their latest masterpiece, Dead Rising 3, including a downloadable demo and the game’s first expansion pack that will be available soon.

The lineup of Xbox One launch game announcements began with a trickle during the May reveal event and didn’t start to really flow until Microsoft’s E3 press conference. Electronic Arts and other publishers chimed in, and soon gamers began to have a decent idea of what software to expect when Microsoft’s new console rolls around.

Still, for all those title announcements, you never really know exactly what games will launch alongside the system until the console’s release date draws near. The Xbox One’s nebulous November release date (Microsoft still hasn’t named the date yet) is still a few months away, but Microsoft has just revealed the lineup of games that will be available at retail and via download on launch day. With 23 titles to choose from, early adopters are in for a treat this holiday season.

E3 2013 kept us all very busy last week, and this week we still have a few more games to discuss with you. The Xbox One lineup looks like it will cater to fans of a variety of genres – not just first-person shooters. Horror games should be especially well represented. The console launches with Dead Rising 3, an exclusive title from Capcom and Microsoft. The previous series entries all appeared on Xbox 360, with a port of the first game showing up on the Wii and both 2 and Off the Record gracing the Playstation 3 as well.

Shortly after launch we should also see D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die from Hidetaka Suehiro (creator of Deadly Premonition) and Microsoft.  D4 will be a thriller/mystery released via downloadable episodes. And in 2014, Japanese developer Tango Gameworks will team up with publishing giant Bethesda to release a pure horror game The Evil Within at retail.

Yesterday at E3 2013 we managed to squeeze in an interview with Peter Orullian, Group Product Manager at Microsoft. Peter is a ridiculously accomplished individual. He writes books, sings opera, and somehow finds time to work with Windows Phone, SmartGlass, and Xbox Music. Leave some lifetime Achievements for the rest of us, big guy!

Anyway, I sat down on camera with him to discuss his contributions to Windows Phone and SmartGlass, plus the Xbox One and his favorite games of the show. Windows Phone Central’s Daniel Rubino and “Serious” Sam Sabri also pitched in on the interview questions. Head past the break for the video interview and a brief summary!
