Disney

Rebels is a new Windows Phone game from Disney that is based on the Star Wars Rebels television series. As one might guess, you are tasked with several missions that pits you against the evil Empire.

The game, also known as Star Wars Rebels: Recon Missions, is full of Stormtroopers, droids, blasters and light sabers. The game is not available for low-memory Windows Phones but is available for Windows 8 devices. While it is disappointing that Rebels lacks support for 512MB devices, in playing Rebels over the past few days, the game comes across as an appealing adventure game but a few stability issues and slow load times seems to hold this gaming title back a bit.

Star Wars: Tiny Death Star & Star Wars Assault Team will soon be pulled from the Windows Phone Store. Today, Disney pulled both games from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The Developers of the game, Nimblebit, have announced that Disney gave them no prior knowledge of the move. The sad thing about it, is that both titles haven't even been available for a year, with Star Wars Assault Team only being six months old.

Do you enjoy soccer (football for everyone outside the borders of the US)? If so, you'll want to check out Disney's latest hit for Windows Phone – Bola Soccer. The game, just like its counterpart already available for Windows 8, enables players to compete against the computer or real players and show off some skill behind the ball (or virtual controls in this case).

Disney's Hidden Worlds hit the Windows Phone Store late last month and challenges you to find objects hidden in plain sight. A game of I Spy of sorts that takes you to three different worlds based on three Disney stories.

The story behind the game has you protecting the worlds of Beauty and the Beast, Tangled and Aladdin from a mysterious villain who is threatened these worlds' existence. You team up with Chrona and the Inklings to keep these worlds safe and restore their story lines.

While the game is fun with Hidden Worlds, I couldn't help but feel navigation could have been a little less busy. Nonetheless, Disney's Hidden Worlds has plenty of picture puzzles to solve and, overall, is a fun title to add to your Windows Phone gaming library.

Does Disney ever sleep? The company has been releasing mobile games for Windows Phone and Windows 8 at an ever increasing rate. It feels like just it was just ten days ago that their newest game Words of Wonder hit the Windows Phone Store and Window Store (it was). Today we're getting another Disney treat for both of our favorite platforms. Ready to play Disney Hidden Worlds?
