It’s been a busy day for the Nokia Lumia 1020 as that device’s global rollout is now kicking off. Earlier today, Nokia announced the device’s availability for the UK at the end of September and now the third party retailers are climbing over each other to offer the best deal.

Phones4U joins Clove UK in bringing the 32 GB version of the 41 MP Lumia 1020 to the UK this month. The Phones4U deal though is especially enticing as the device will be free on some limited contracts for EE, Vodafone and Orange. In addition, when you preorder from Phones4U, you will get £295 worth of “bonus” features including a camera accessory pack, a 6 months Netflix subscription, and a free wireless speaker. The phone ships on September 25.

Although Nokia has their Lumia 1020 to start global distribution in the coming weeks, their other new phone, the Lumia 625, is now rolling out worldwide.

The latest country to pick up the 4.7-inch 800x480 Windows Phone 8 device would be Qatar, through Consolidated Gulf Co. (CGC) who distributes for Nokia in the region. The phone is retailing for QR 999 ($275 USD) and is now available “across major electronic retail stores in a range of colours including orange, yellow, bright green, white and black”. The device is expected to help transition the region to 4G and should be a great choice for those looking for a compelling Windows Phone without committing to much money.

While it’s not currently possible to check pricing and details of the Lumia 920 on website for both T-Mobile and Orange, it seems Phones 4u may have shed some light on things.

The Nokia Lumia 920, the flagship Windows Phone 8 device is an EE exclusive but will still be available to customers on Orange and T-Mobile. Of course, on standard 3g data plans rather than the brand new 4g plans EE want to push.

Phones4u has been spotted advertising an enticing offer currently ongoing at one of its stores. The HTC Radar has had a further £20 taken off to drop it down from £99 (online store price) to just £79.95 for upgraders. It's great value for a sturdy Windows Phone that will be upgraded to Windows Phone 7.8 when the update is made available.

Released back in 2011 with the HTC TITAN, the Radar sports a 3.8" display, 1GHz chip, 8GB storage, 5MP shooter (with FFC), and a 1520mAh battery.

The HTC Radar (both silver and white) is currently priced at £99 on the Phones4u website, so be sure to check with your local store should you wish to make a purchase, just in case the same deal is offered in your location.

Thanks, Richard, for sending in the photo!

We've covered a number of deals the past few days and it's certainly a coincidence that most (if not all) have been Nokia Windows Phones. We've got yet another offer to reveal to you should you reside in the UK. High street retailer Phones 4u has the exclusive white Lumia 800 listed at just £15/mo with Orange.

The Lumia 800 is bundled at no extra charge, and the 24-month plan includes 100 minutes, 3000 texts and 100MB of data. It doesn't sound a lot if you're a power user, but it's the Dolphin package from Orange so one can always upgrade should they wish to do so.

The Phones 4u Lumia 800 product page shows a 3.8 / 5 average customer rating with 77% recommending it. Be sure to head on over to the retail website for more information. Note that Nokia have halted the free Monster headphones offer.

UK mobile phone retailer Phones 4u has published their pre-order page for the limited edition Batman Lumia 900. Available for pre-order today, the special Lumia 900 is set to be in stock online and in selected flagship Phones 4u stores from June 1st.

As well as receiving the limited edition Windows Phone, each purchase will be bundled with cinema tickets to see The Dark Knight Rises, with a chance to win a VIP experience at the premier. Phones 4u states this offer is also available to those who purchase standard Lumia 900s (in case black isn't your colour).

The device itself features a Nokia app for The Dark Knight Rises that packs wallpapers, trailers, ringtones and a location-based game using Foursquare. The limited edition Batman Lumia 900 is available for free on contracts starting at £30/mo on Orange and Vodafone, but should you wish to purchase one without a plan, you'll be set back by £599.95.

Selected flagship Phone 4u stores, which will all stock the Batman Lumia 900 are as follows: Merry Hill (Dudley), Newcastle upon Tyne, Metro Centre (Gateshead), Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Plymouth, Oxford Street (London), Stratford (London), Manchester, Luton, Portsmouth, and Cardiff.

We know Nokia and director Christopher Nolan have a thing going--after all, Nokia has appeared in a previous "Batman" film and we've seen a limited run of Batman themed Lumia 800's back in December.  There were only 40 of those created.

Now they're looking to jump on the release of "the Dark Night Rises" with a more widely available (but still super limited) Batman edition of the Lumia 900, etched with a Batman logo on the back.

Phones4U are confirmed to be getting a batch and the device will go on sales in France and Germany too.

No word on pricing or just how many will be available but it sounds like you'll need to be quick to get one. Also no confirmation of an AT&T version--we'll be surprised if the massive carrier doesn't offer something similar, so we'll keep an ear out.

The Lumia 900 is now available at UK retailer Phones 4u in black and white. Both versions are reported to be only available at Phones 4u until May 27th when other sources will be able to stock the device. Purchasing either colour today from the retailer will also see a free Nokia Monster Headset, free Nokia Play 360 speaker and free 12 months unlimited WiFi bundled with the Lumia 900.

The Lumia 900 is available from £21/mo (£199 upfront fee) with O2, £31/mo with Vodafone or £33.50/mo (£59 upfront fee) with Orange. Note that delivery for the handset on an O2 deal is set back until 14/05, no reason is supplied. Also, should you have pre-ordered the Lumia 900 before April 16th, you're eligible for free earphones.

After the delays we've witnessed in the states, it's good to see Nokia pumping out stock for high demand.

UK mobile phone retailer Phones 4u has sent out a press statement confirming the Lumia 900 UK delay due to 'overwhelming demand' in the U.S. The "exclusive to Phones 4u" white Lumia 900, along with the black version, have had their availability date pushed back from April 27th to May 14th.

As an apology to those who ordered either Windows Phone on (or before) April 16th, the retailer is bundling a pair of Nokia Purity in-ear headphones with the Lumia 900 (in addition to the free Nokia Play 360 wireless speaker) at no extra cost. As mentioned above, stock is expected to be ready to ship by May 14th.

Check out the full press release below.

The Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U, two popular UK mobile phone retailers, have both joined Clove UK in listing the Lumia 900 (our review) on their websites for pre-order and interest registration. The handset is launching in the states on AT&T's LTE network, so it's good to see the international version (HSPA+) hit the British shores.

The Carphone Warehouse expects to release the handset in May, and has an interest registration page setup for alerts to be sent out when pre-ordering is available. Phones4U on the other hand has already gone live with pre-orders for both the black and white version of the Lumia 900.

What's more is the retailer is offering a free Nokia Play 360 Wireless speaker (worth £120) with a Lumia 900 pre-order. Not a bad deal. As well as the speaker, the white version is exclusive to the retailer according to the order page, and they expect to have the Windows Phone ready for delivery by April 27th.

When advertising in newspapers, one would believe that a few spots here and there would be sufficient enough, right? According to the above photo, this apparently isn't the case at Nokia. The UK's The Sun newspaper sports a number of advertisements in one edition. Should the reader not notice a Windows Phone advert on one or two pages, they certainly will now.

We're looking to seriously consider starting up nokialumiapromotion.com, to keep up with all the latest news surrounding their huge global marketing campaign. Then again, the manufacturer depends on the platform to succeed, so we expect to see much more from both Nokia and Microsoft (as well as other OEMs once things pick up).

We were all excited (and surprised) with the rumours and subsequent announcement by Nokia surrounding the white Lumia 800. Being already available in black, cyan and magenta, the white variant adds a refreshed look to the 800 range of Windows Phones. Here in the UK, availability of the white Lumia 800 is exclusive to Phones4U, which has contracts available on O2, Orange, and Vodafone.

According to a blog post on the website, the handset is available for pre-order and Phones4U will be shipping the handset early March. It's unsure how long the exclusivity will last.

The magenta version of the Lumia 800 is well on its way with Carphone Warehouse expecting the handset to be available this month. Joining the cyan and black colours, it will be interesting to see how the pink catches the eyes of females and those who would be fond of such a coloured phone (I personally owned a j700 back in the day).

Should you be eager to see what plans you can get Nokia's magenta Windows Phone on, check out Phones4U (link below) who have got O2, Orange and Vodafone contracts available, from just £20 a month.

HTC is going big with promotion and advertising for their Titan and Radar handsets. We've seen their commercial being aired on prime time TV, full page newspaper adverts and Phones4U has also been publishing advertising material in newspapers. We're aware of HTC and Samsung investing more funds in promotion, but it's good to see a store take part with the above photo from a Phones4U store in Norwich, UK. Purchasing the Titan will earn you 800 MS points and 12 a month Xbox Live subscription.

Thanks Joseph for sending the photo in!
