2Dark brings retro survival horror thrills to Xbox One, PC
2Dark, a survival horror title from the creator of the classic Alone in the Dark, is now available on Xbox One and PC. And while it's not as graphically intense as the recent resurgence of games in the genre like Resident Evil 7 or Outlast, 2Dark looks to represent a return to the roots of survival horror.
In 2Dark, you'll have to venture into the aptly named Gloomywood to investigate a string of child abductions after your own kids are taken. Doing so proves to be more difficult than you could imagine, however, as you end up taking on a series of serial killers while ushering the children to safety. Limited items and stealth also play a big role in the game, making for what looks to be a nerve-wracking experience.
If the retro survival horror kicks of 2Dark sound like they're up your alley, you can grab the game now on Xbox One for $30 and Steam for $20.
