Over the past few years, Overwatch has become a cultural phenomena. A lot of individuals outside of gaming know who characters like D.Va and Tracer are. Whenever there's a new Funko Pop! figurine, the crowds go wild. Keep in line with merchandising traditions, Overwatch is getting Lego sets very soon.
Today, Blizzard Entertainment announced Lego Overwatch on Twitter. So far, only a Tracer figurine has been teased, but it's safe to assume that a lot of characters will be available. It's unclear if certain maps from the game will also be converted to blocks for everyone to play with.
So far neither Lego or Blizzard have confirmed pricing or other details. We'll keep you posted as soon as we know more. Some of the Lego Star Wars sets go for close to $100. Here's hoping that this isn't the case for Lego Overwatch. Which characters do you want to see? Let us know.
Overwatch is a first-person shooter on Xbox One and PC which features various heroes battling various villains. Each character is unique and has their own set of abilities and skills. Despite the diverse cast of fighters, the game is surprisingly balanced at a casual level, and you never feel like you're at a disadvantage if you choose one over the other.
