The series' latest release, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, retains this penchant for stellar weaponry. Assault Rifles

Your classic jack of all trades weapon, assault rifles are competent in just about every stat. You get acceptable range, decent damage, a large magazine, and a high fire rate.

Light machine guns

Don't care much for the spray and pray method? Use your precision and dexterity to your advantage and one-shot kill almost anyone on the map with these snipers.

These pistols make for great sidearms and can come in handy in the right moment, but they aren't usually something you'll want to rely on all of the time.
