Yesterday, Activision revealed more details about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. While the focus of the news is mostly the abhorrent business practices which deny Xbox One and PC gamers a whole mode for a year, there are still some other tidbits you may have missed about the game.
This morning, the company released a behind-the-scenes trailer which discusses the story. Luckily, everyone get access to that at the same time. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare seems like a complete reboot of the franchise, instead of a spiritual successor. The dark campaign and focus on tactics makes the title stand out in my opinion.
Given the fact that cross-play is a standout feature in this year's Call of Duty entry, it was important for the team to make sure that all platforms had access to the same content. According to a report by Charlie Intel, "post-launch maps and modes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will release on all platforms at the same time." However, the reality is far from it.
What do you think of the trailer? Are you excited for the game? Let us know.
