Check out more than 5 minutes of Assassin's Creed Origins gameplay

After churning the rumor mill like crazy ahead of E3 2017, Assassins Creed Origins finally got a reveal at Microsoft's briefing. Set to arrive on October 27, Assassins Creed Origins will take the series to Egypt with some tweaks on the gameplay the series is known for. Check out more than five minutes of what you can expect in teh trailer below:

Journey into Ancient Egypt, the most mysterious place in history, during a crucial period that will shape the world. Discover the secrets behind the Great Pyramids, forgotten myths, the last pharaohs, and – engraved in long-lost hieroglyphics – the origin story of the Assassin's Brotherhood.

If you're excited to jump into the shoes of Bayek, the Origins protagonist, the game will be up for preorder shortly. And if you're planning one picking up the newly announced Xbox One X, the experience will boast plenty of visual improvements as well.

  • Interesting, I like the loot system, but I'm not a fan of the bird, it takes away from the sneaking and looking around aspects of the previous games to try and find your target.
