Cloud-based video messenger Glide gets a native Windows 10 Mobile app

In February, the cloud-based video messenger Glide released a Windows Phone 8.1 version that could also run on Windows 10 Mobile. This week, Glide has now released a new version of the app that runs natively on Windows 10 Mobile.

Glide's CEO seems to be happy with the release of the Windows 10 Mobile version:

"I am impressed by Microsoft's new leadership and strategic initiatives, and am happy to offer the growing Glide community a seamless Windows 10 experience." said Ari Roisman, Glide CEO. "By extending our unique video messaging platform in recent months to Windows Phone, Android Wear and Apple Watch, we are excited to see Glide help millions more people communicate with greater ease and expression."

Glide allows users to make video messages that can be watched either live or sometime later by the recipient and all videos are stored on Glide's cloud servers so that they don't take up storage space on a smartphone.
