Count Dooku joins Star Wars Battlefront II

Count Dooku is one of the most popular Star Wars characters and today, he joined Star Wars Battlefront II. The character model is great and he's definitely a powerful villain to play as. What stands out the most has to be his curved lightsabers.

Star Wars Battlefront II ignited a microtransactions controversy which a lot of foreign governments cracked down on. While EA eventually changed the business model of the game, it still left gamers with a feeling of disgust. Not only did the microtransactions impact the review scores, but they overshadowed anything positive about the game, like its single-player campaign. Hopefully the publisher has learned its lesson from Star Wars Battlefront II.

Over the past few months, EA has turned the game around. It no longer features a pay-to-win microtransactions model and lets you earn gear and other cosmetics rather easily. However, it seems like the damaged has been done. Do you still play Star Wars Battlefront II? Let us know. With new multiplayer games like Anthem coming out soon, the player count for Star Wars Battlefront II will probably go down even further.

In Star Wars: Battlefront II, you embark on a first or third-person action experience in the acclaimed universe. Iconic characters like Darth Maul, Han Solo, and Kylo Ren make an appearance in this game, and there should be plenty of other surprises across its campaign and multiplayer modes. While the campaign may be short, it's a lot of fun. Star Wars Battlefront II will mostly be remembered as a visual masterpiece.
