Destiny 2: Solstice of Heroes and Master Vault of Glass are live for all players
Fun and rewarding content awaits.
What you need to know
- The Solstice of Heroes event and the Master Vault of Glass raid are now live in Destiny 2.
- Solstice of Heroes features a boss rush activity that allows players to earn weapons, armor, a new shotgun, and more.
- The event will also give players a chance to earn and upgrade special glowing Solstice armor sets.
- Solstice of Heroes ends August 3, 2021.
- Master Vault of Glass increases enemy Power Level, adds more Champion, and rewards players with special Timelost weapons.
With the arrival of Destiny 2's July 6 weekly reset, both the Solstice of Heroes event and the Master difficulty option for the Vault of Glass raid have officially gone live. Both activities are available to all players, and both feature some great loot that players should be excited for.
The Solstice of Heroes event takes Guardians to the European Aerial Zone (EAZ) as they race against the clock to kill as many bosses as possible so that they can collect and unlock loot caches. In these caches, players can find plenty of cool gear, including weapons, armor pieces, Solstice-exclusive items, planetary materials, and a new legendary shotgun called the Compass Rose. Over the course of the event, players will also be able to upgrade pieces of glowing Solstice armor by completing various objectives. The event ends on August 3, 2021.
Master Vault of Glass, meanwhile, challenges players to complete a considerably harder version of the Vault of Glass raid. In the Master version, enemy Power Level is bumped up to 1350 and more Champions are spawned in each encounter. As a reward for successfully completing the Master Vault of Glass, players can earn special Timelost variants of Vault of Glass weapons (the available Timelost weapon changes weekly) that can roll with some unique perks and can be outfitted with exclusive mods.
Overall, both Solstice of Heroes and Master Vault of Glass will be keeping Guardians busy for quite awhile. Will you be participating in the event or attempting to complete Master Vault of Glass? Let me know.

The base game is free, so if you're looking to try Destiny 2 out before paying for expansions or season passes, you can do so. It's one of the best Xbox One shooters available right now, so I recommend giving it a shot.
