DiRT 4 will put the pedal to the metal on Xbox One and PC this summer

Racers, start your engines: DiRT 4 is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC on June 6, publisher Codemasters has announced. The latest entry in the off-road racing series, DiRT 4 is set to bring back the same fast-paced rally racing of older titles in the series, along with some new surprises.
One new bit being added in DiRT 4 is called Your Stage. Essentially, Your Stage is a tool that lets you create your very own unique stages that you can then race and share with your friends. The game is also set to pack in a Land Rush mode that will let you race buggies and trucks in California, Nevada and Mexico.
Of course, you'll also be able to check out more than 50 off-road cars, some of which include the Ford Fiesta R5, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI, Subaru WRX STI NR4 and the Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2. We'll learn much more about DiRT 4 as we approach its June 6 release date. In the meantime, let us know in the comments what you'd like to see in the latest DiRT title!

Is this going to be a Play Anywhere title?
-
Hopefully it will be.
-
No word on that yet, but June is still a ways away. I'm sure we'll hear more in the coming months.
-
well if there's a game dev that gives me hope that is codemasters, their games are simply superb, dirt 2-3 were awesome and now I'm very excited for this one
-
Depends. The publishing for Dirt Rally was handled by Koch Media for the Xbox One version, Codemasters dealt with PC themselves. So we'll have to wait and see.
-
honestly I just want more of that good dirt 2-3 games I had, with new challenges and cars maybe game modes, I really enjoyed them and grid is also superb, they do racing almost exactly as I like it, feeling like a pro, but on easy-fun mode
-
Never cared for the Dirt series, GRID 2 was the best they ever made IMO.
-
So does this mean it goes back to realistic rallying like the Collin Mcrae games of old? If so ill buy day 1.
-
Dirt Rally is already pretty much the game you sound like you're looking for :)
-
Is it? I haven't played it yet. I just want a rally game with the real WRC stages and repairing your car etc. Code masters handling is really good. I just want real world tracks and sim.
-
Dirt Rally is what you want. I was a huge fan of Collin McRae, everything after that was a little too arcadish for me. I was happy when Rally went back to it's roots. If 4 is going to be like Rally then it will be a great Dirt.
-
According to those that have played the test builds, it has better handling than DiRT Rally (better feeling of weight, better handling on asphalt etc.)
-
Is it always online?
-
Xbox Anywhere please... this should a must from now on for all publishers.
-
What's politics got to do with Dirt 4?
-
10 years back I played dirt 1.Now I'm getting old 😭
