F1 2020 teases new addition Circuit Zandvoort with in-game footage
By Richard Devine last updated
One of two new GP circuits coming to this year's game has been shown off for the first time.

What you need to know
- Circuit Zandvoort is the home of the returning Dutch GP.
- Virtual hot lap shows off the circuit in-game with local driver, Max Verstappen, and his Red Bull.
- Game is scheduled to launch in July (opens in new tab) with a special edition celebrating the great Michael Schumacher.
Following its recent reveal and ahead of the expected July release, Codemasters has started to tease the in-game content for F1 2020 with a first look at one of two brand new locations for this year. Unfortunately, the Dutch GP at Circuit Zandvoort has been cancelled in real life in line with the current global situation, but fans can still drive it in the game.
Zandvoort brings a Dutch GP back to the F1 package for the first time since the 1980s and what better driver to feature in the virtual hot lap than local superstar, Max Verstappen, in the Red Bull Honda. A new challenge and one that players will no doubt flock to when the game launches.
Zandvoort is an interesting circuit packed with fast corners and a banked final turn that will be just before the main DRS zone.
F1 2020 is set to launch on July 10 on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and for the first time, Google Stadia. Pre-orders are available now on the Microsoft Store, starting at $60.
