Brawlhalla is a free-to-play fighting game which features both online and local modes. There's also a single-player option. You join an eternal battle arena where the greatest warriors in history brawl to prove who's the best. Just like Killer Instinct, it features a "Legend Rotation" of eight characters that changes every week. You can earn gold to unlock more fighters by playing any online game mode. Ubisoft says that "Brawhalla will always be 100 percent free to play, with no pay-to-win advantages."
Today, Ubisoft added cross-play between Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The company said the following on the game's website.
It's great to see that the game is getting excellent post-launch support even after all this time. Hopefully, other platforms will be able to play together soon, too.
