The Microsoft Store is currently running a promotional offer for PC buyers. People who purchase a PC from the site that is priced a $699 or more can get an 8-inch NuVision Windows 10 tablet for the price of $40, well below its normal $99 cost.

The special promotion lasts until Sunday, June 19 and is obviously being made to entice Father's Day gift buyers. As you might expect, the NuVision Windows 10 tablet has some mixed hardware specs. It does have a 1920x1200 resolution display, which is not bad for this price. It also has an Intel Atom Z3735F processor inside, along with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera. The major weak point is the battery life. It is only supposed to last up to 6 hours.

Still, if you were thinking about getting a PC for Dad this week, this is not a bad bundle deal.
