Surprise! The price of Battlefield 6 just fell in Cyber Monday's final hours — I can't recommend this deal on 2025's biggest new game enough

The Cyber Monday sales event held in the aftermath of Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend is consistently one of the best times to get new video games for less — and that includes major AAA titles that just recently came out, too.

This year, the biggest of those is Electronic Arts' (EA) and Battlefield Studios' explosively popular multiplayer FPS Battlefield 6. And right now, in Cyber Monday's final hours, you can pick up the Xbox version of the acclaimed shooter, normally priced at $69.99, for only $49.99 at Amazon. The PS5 edition is also $49.99 at Amazon, as well.

Battlefield 6 (Xbox): was $69.99 now $49.99 at Amazon

Battlefield 6 is the biggest, best-selling game of 2025, and Cyber Monday is the perfect time to pick it up yourself — or as a gift for others. Though normally $69.99, it's fallen to $49.99 in the final hours of the sales event, which is an amazing discount on a AAA blockbuster that just came out in October.

It's official: Battlefield 6 is the best-selling game of the year, and it sold more copies in one month than any other game has since 2022's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, too. It's no exaggeration to say that it's the biggest game of the year as well, and has propelled EA's legendary FPS franchise to new heights after years of struggle.

The reason why is largely because its developers delivered an experience that returned to Battlefield form, complete with the series' class-based structure, tons of new gadgets and weapons to earn and use, a suite of 11 different maps (more on the way) with combined arms engagements between infantry, vehicles, and aircraft, and plenty of modes to play.

Battlefield 6 also features a special custom games creation tool called Portal that players can use to build and share their own gameplay experiences (think Forge from Halo), along with a full campaign and a free-to-play battle royale mode, Battlefield REDSEC.

No matter what you're playing in Battlefield 6, though, the game's extremely advanced destruction physics will be present, allowing you to dynamically destroy cover, structures, and more to creatively get the drop on your enemies. And all of it will look and sound terrific, too, as the game features immaculate and immersive audiovisual presentation.

I've put over 120 hours into Battlefield 6 since it launched in early October, and I've had an absolute blast playing it both alone and with a squad of friends. In fact, I'm itching to finish writing this article so I can be done with Cyber Monday and play it right now.

It's an amazing multiplayer game and one of my favorite titles of the year, and it's only going to get better with the seasonal updates Battlefield Studios has planned, too. I can't recommend it — and this awesome Cyber Monday deal on it — enough.

Cyber Monday lands on December 1 this year, which is TODAY. Most deals like this one will expire tonight, so don't wait too long.
